Covea – GoSure Brand & UX Redesign

Covea needed a clearer and more forward-looking digital direction across its insurance products. I worked on the creation of 'GoSure', a mobile-first brand designed to modernise the user experience and establish a scalable design foundation for future digital products. The project focused not only on visual identity, but on rethinking how digital insurance journeys could feel, function, and evolve.

The Challenge

Covea’s existing product brands lacked consistency and were not designed with mobile-first or accessibility principles in mind. User journeys were inefficient and contributed to customer drop-off.

Internally, design and development teams were working across different tools and processes without a shared system, leading to fragmented execution and difficulty scaling improvements.

The challenge was to:

  • modernise the customer-facing experience
  • create alignment across teams
  • introduce a scalable design foundation that could support future innovation

My Role

I worked across brand creation, UX redesign, and design system foundations. This included shaping the visual and verbal identity of GoSure, defining mobile-first interaction patterns, redesigning core insurance journeys, and building reusable components in Figma. I also created interactive prototypes to communicate concepts and support stakeholder alignment.

The Solution

GoSure was developed as a new digital-first insurance brand, including naming, logo, tone of voice, visual language, and supporting brand guidelines.

Beyond brand creation, the work focused heavily on structure and scalability. I helped introduce a component-based toolkit in Figma, establishing a clearer connection between design and development and creating a single source of truth.

The brand also provided space to explore more progressive ideas, such as licence scanning for insurance quotes, allowing the team to test innovation within a cohesive digital framework.

Project Impact & Reflection

GoSure provided a clearer visual and UX direction across digital touch points and introduced a more consistent, scalable way of working between teams.

It was particularly rewarding to see conceptual work influence real product decisions and move into production. The project reinforced the importance of strong foundations, both in brand and in systems, when modernising legacy digital products.
